 共和国広場にある「ミハイロ公」の像と「国立博物館」。1844年開館のセルビア初の博物館です。今日、博物館の重要部分が入っている建物は元々は1902年から1903年に建てられたベオグラードで最も古い銀行組織のひとつである基金抵当銀行のためのものです。博物館は2012年に10年間の修理のため閉鎖されました。像は1882年に建てられました。
"Prince Mihailo Monument" and "National Museum" are located in the Republic Square. It's the first museum established in on May 10, 1844. The building which housed the most important museum today, originally was built from 1902 to 1903, for the purpose of Fund Mortgage Bank, one of the oldest banking institution of Belgrade. The museumwas closed in 2012 for 10 years reconstruction. The monument was erected in 1882. |

1869年に建てられました。セルビアで最も厳しい時のひとつである1999年のNATOによる空爆の中、劇場は78日に及ぶ空爆の中オープンし続けた唯一の施設でした。公演は15時から18時という異例な時間で行われましたが、それはベオグラードに対するNATO空爆がない時間だったからです。

It was built in 1869. During one of the toughest times in Serbian history, which is the 1999 NATO bombing, this theatre was the only one to open its doors to the public during the 78-day air raids. The performance times were very unusual, from 15:00 to 18:00. It was done because in that period of time there were not NATO air strikes on Belgrade. |

 「国会議事堂」に到着。議事堂は1936年に一応出来上がりましたが、1938年まで内装の装飾作業が必要だったため完成していませんでした。完成した1938年から2006年まではユーゴスラビア議事堂でその後セルビア・モンテネグロ議事堂となりました。

2016年1月の新ベオグラード中央駅の開設に伴い、2016年中に全ての旅客列車が順次新駅に移行されることが発表されています。だから首都の中央駅だけど、ちょっとさびしい感じを受けたんですね。
